Sound Explorer is an original Orbital radio original segment that seeks to spotlight the best new sound waves music coming from the inner west and the whole wide world.
Seven instalments of the show have been broadcasted by host and programmer Oscar Byrne over the past 3 months, utilising the Orbital platform to draw exposure from our listeners to the vast array of original music being produced, you can expect to hear everything from the latest psychedelic sounds coming from third eye stimuli records to hard hitting punk sounds from bands like A.Swayze and the ghosts. This segment includes interviews with artists and we are in the process of building a live room where we’ll broadcast bands live from Soundworks studios in Marrickville.
